"Affiliate
Networks... Why You need Them?"
"Find
out why you must work with the top affiliate networks..."

Welcome to the Affiliate Networks
section!
Affiliate
networks are the best places to find affiliate programs. You have many
ways to find affiliate programs to promote, and registering for with an
affiliate network is by far the fastest and safest way to start.
So
What is an affiliate network?
Basically,
affiliate networks are
places where merchants can advertise their products to affiliate
marketers.
The
affiliate network will manage relationships between merchants (also
called publishers, vendors or sellers) and affiliates. It is a win win
situation. Let's have a quick review of affiliate networks
benefits for both merchants and affiliates...
For merchants:
- They can get a stronger sales force for
their
products. They get more
affiliates ==> more sales.
- Online Affiliate networks attract
affiliates.
For affiliates:
- They
can find the products for their
targeted market in a single place.
- They can also monitor and track their
advertising campaigns and get many statistics in one place.
- Promoting products from affiliate
networks is safer than promoting products for merchants running their
own affiliate management software. (what if they don't pay? It happens
sometimes.)
- Affiliates can the product performance
before even starting to promote it.
- Tip: Affiliates can
find new ideas for hidden niches within the affiliate marketing
network. (Since the merchants has already done the market research, the
niche he is targeting is profitable in most of the cases.)
Should I join several free
affiliate networks?
When you
are starting, I'd recommend to register with one affiliate network
only, and when you feel comfortable, you can register with more. It is
a wise idea to register with the top affiliate networks because of the
quality of their service and their reliability.
Who will pay the affiliate
commissions?
Merchants
fund their account in the affiliate network, and the affiliate network
pays affiliates. The good thing is that an affiliate can receive
commissions even if his visitor don't end up paying something. It's
awesome...
Affiliate
networks offer three
type of commissions structure:
- Pay per action (PPA/CPA)
& Pay per Lead (PPL): With Pay per Action, the
affiliate get a commission when a customer completes an action on the
merchant site, like signing up for a free trial.
Pay per lead
is very similar to PPA (also called Cost per
Action): the affiliate is paid when a visitor from his site provide his
personal information (name, address,e-mail, phone...) on the merchant
site.
- Pay per click (PPC):
The affiliate receive a commission when a visitor click on his
affiliate link and then end up on the merchant website.
- Pay per sale (PPS):
The affiliate is paid a percentage of the sale. Whenever a visitor
cliks on
the affiliate link and buy a product on the merchant site, the
affiliate get a percentage in dollars.
Is there any condition to
join affiliate networks?
Affiliate
networks are open to every affiliates. However, some networks will
require that you get a given numbers of visitors, while others will
target specific countries like some UK affiliate networks for example.
Some
affiliate networks will accept your registeration instantly whilw
others will go through a review process before you can promote the
products.
