"Start Your First Blog... In Less Than Five Minutes!"
So you are ready to set up your
First Blog?
There is several Blog
Platforms, and for simplicity, and to let you start on the fast track,
we will start with blogger.com (owned by Google).
It's really easy, let's
start:
1) Go To Blogger
(open in a new window). You can take a quick
tour if you want.
2) Follow the instruction:
Click on the red arrow: "Create your Blog Now"
3) Complete The Step 1
(user name, Password, Display Name - it is the name that will be
displayed when you post -), then accept the terms.
4) Click on the orange
arrow: "continue"
5) Enter a name for
your
Blog. It will be displayed at the top, in the header. Chose a name
that describe your topic.
5) Chose an URL for
your
blog: (without www)
6) Tape the verification
number
7) Click on: "Continue"
8) Now Chose a template
for
your Blog (You can change it later)
9) Click on: "Continue"
You are done: you just
created your first blog! Now it's time to make your first post!
Write your first post, and
click publish. To see your post: Click on the Tab: "See your blog",
then refresh the page!
You will need to adjust the
setting to get the most of your blog.
